In recent years, publishers have rushed anything with Reiner's name on it to the market. In some cases, they are new games, and in other games they are rethemings of old games. However, figuring out the difference is sometimes difficult because the publishers often fail to mention the game's ancestry on the game box.

Whether it's an intentional ploy to increase sales or just a marketing oversight, noone but the publishers know. In a recent interview, Reiner himself admits, "I am a bloodsucker." Of course, he was referring to soaking up game ideas from his playtesters, but it's a great quote when taken entirely out of context.

To help alleviate confusion in the marketplace, Spielboy has put together a lineage of the good doctor's games that have undergone major theming or naming changes.
