Issue 2: Not as funny, but still nice to look at

Friday October 10, 2003 1:20 pm ET

BOSTON, October 10, 2003 -- According to online sources, the second issue of Spielboy (www.spielboy.com) is not as funny, interesting, or inventive as the first, but it's still nice to look at.

"Model Tera Cooley brings the quality of the issue up, but yeah, the writing kinda sucked this time around," said Spielboy Principal M. Horn. "The next issue is going to be better. Just you wait."

Game designer Bruno Faidutti started the firestorm on a French-language website, ankou.net, claiming that Issue 2 was not as funny as the first issue, but, in his words, "cela reste assez agréable à regarder..."

More than 108 people have seen this comment, including Horn. "Backlash against the website was inevitable," Horn said. "At least, that's what I think it is... It's been a long time since I took a French class."
